TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RESERVATION – SANT CESC

  1. IDENTIFICATION

  2. SUBJECT
    These terms and conditions govern the booking, contracting, and use of the Sant Cesc tourist accommodation, whether through direct booking, via the website santcesc.com, or through intermediary platforms.
  3. BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS
    The booking is considered formalized and confirmed once 100% of the total amount of the stay has been paid, which must be paid at the time of booking. The amount paid covers exclusively the contracted stay, without prejudice to other items regulated in these terms and conditions (eco-tax, security deposit, penalties, etc.).
  4. CANCELLATION POLICY
    The cancellation policy is NON-REFUNDABLE.
    In case of cancellation by the guest, no-show, or early departure from the property, no refund will be issued, regardless of the reason given.
    It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel or cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
  5. SECURITY DEPOSIT
    To guarantee the proper use of the property, a security deposit will be required. The amount will vary and will be determined based on:
    The length of stay, and
    The number of guests.
    The exact amount of the security deposit will be communicated to the guest before arrival.
    The security deposit will be returned after departure, once the property and its furnishings have been checked, less any applicable charges. the amounts necessary to cover damages, breaches, or penalties.
  6. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
    Check-in: from 4:00 PM
    Check-out:
    Latest time: until 11:00 AM
    Procedure: At the end of your stay, the keys must be returned to the same lockbox in the building entrance where they were collected during check-in.
    Late check-out:
    Any departure after 11:00 AM without prior authorization will be subject to a penalty of €100 for each hour of delay, which will be automatically charged to the payment method used for the booking.
  7. TAX ON TOURIST STAYS (ECO-TAX)
    In accordance with Law 2/2016 of March 30, on the Tourist Stay Tax in the Balearic Islands, all guests are required to pay the Sustainable Tourism Tax (Eco-Tax). Amount: €2.20 per person per night Payment method: payable to the owner upon check-in.
  8. SERVICES AND FACILITIES
    Drinking Water
    The tap water in Ciutadella is not suitable for human consumption. The property has a cistern with drinking water, exclusively for the guests’ use. The tap for this water is located in the kitchen and is easily identifiable. Appliances and Equipment: The property includes an oven, induction hob, refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, dryer, and Smart TV with access to digital platforms. Guests can contact the host with any questions about their operation. Air Conditioning: The property has three air conditioning units (heating and cooling) with independent controls for each floor. Parking: We recommend the paid parking garage at Plaza del Borne, located a one-minute walk away, as well as other free options near the port. HOUSE RULES: To ensure harmonious coexistence and respect for the neighborhood, the following rules must be strictly followed. Rules:
    Absolute prohibition of parties or social events.
    Quiet hours: from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
    No pets allowed.
    Smoking is prohibited inside the property.
    Lost keys: €20 penalty per set.
    Use of keys: It is forbidden to leave them in the lock from the inside. Locksmith fees will be charged to the guest.
    Late check-out: subject to prior authorization and a financial penalty.
  9. OCCUPANCY
    The maximum capacity of the accommodation is 8 people.
    It is not permitted to accommodate more people than indicated in the reservation.
  10. LIABILITY
    The guest will be responsible for any damages caused during their stay.
    The property is not responsible for theft, loss, personal injury, or accidents.
  11. DATA PROTECTION
    The personal data provided will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and current data protection legislation.
  12. ACCEPTANCE
    Formalizing the reservation implies the express and full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  13. TOURIST LICENSE
    Property registered as tourist accommodation with license number ET 1151 ME.
